I came home to a 2001 Chevy 2 door Black Blazer. When I got there, I was wondering who was here. Then I see my dad standing there with huge smirk with a towel in his hand. Mom and Dad were cleaning the black bullet for me. I realized then that this can't be mine. I was told I wouldn't get a car until the spring after I turned sixteen. I was astonished. I walked up and just told them, "this isn't mine." They told me it was and showed me the new wheels. The nick name my dad gave it is the Baby Burb'. This reason for this name is that he had a Suburban at the time and decided it was the spawn of it.
The Blazer is black and with windows blacker than a black hole. All windows are blacked out. Since I've had it in 2006, I have made it mine. I added touches here and there. I put on a new billet grill, lowered the machine 4 inches, added a new intake, and blacked out the head and taillights. To assist my music needs, I have installed a sound system to thump and bump to. The Blazer will be getting new shoes to be put on once the new rubber comes in.
I love my Blazer. It has grown on me. I always told myself and others that I'm a car guy. I'm into sport compact cars and the tuner scene. I've gone through scenarios in my head of what I would do to this car or that car. I would research day in and day out. I was not a truck/SUV person. I'm not only a car guy, but now I'm a Blazer guy.
