Lights, Camera, Action! Those are the words I want to hear. I want to have the joy of being behind the scenes of Hollywood. I want to breathe in the atmosphere of creativity. I want to hear the sensations of shuddering cameras, the rolling film and most of all, congratulations. I want to taste the satisfaction of a job well done.
I have been making films ever since the sixth grade. I really got into it in high school. There is something about completing a video that makes me grin. The feeling of just knowing it was my hard work that was put into it is overwhelming. Even if the video isn’t a crowd pleaser, I still feel good about the effort put into the film. I do participate in the videos, but what I really enjoy is the editing and camera work. I want to make movies that people are willing to pay and attend on Friday nights. I want to hear that they were entertained by my creativity.
Just knowing people want to see me creation would be the best feeling in the world. Even if the crowd is displeased, I would take the criticism and critique, and use it for my next film. Film making is a passion of mine. I’m just waiting for the opportunity to take my dreams to the next level. I am optimistic and there is nothing wrong with pursuing your dreams. I feel Ball State would help me in this journey. Ball State has the best technology and knowledge to assist me in my dream.
