Being on The Pitch

What I like to do most is playing the game of soccer. Soccer started for my when I was four years old. I started at the Plainfield Optimist Club. Every spring and fall I would participate. There are memories of being out in the sunny days, times of being out in the extreme cold, times of rain, times of pain, and of course, having a great time. This club has helped the game I have today.
I remember playing on the field, being the kid with red baseball cleats with the end cleat clipped off. My parents were the coaches almost every year. Some how they would participate in some way. Out here around Cascade, we did not have a club. It was either Danville or Plainfield. The choice for us was Plainfield, probably because our family lives there.  Once I was in 6th grade, Mill Creek Optimist started. I first started playing here in 7th grade. This was very exciting since i got to play with all my friends. I was able to bring my play over to our new team.
I played in Jr. High and then started High School. It was the first year for varsity soccer. I started as a freshman. I also played  two and half seasons for a local club called Westside United. I am planning on playing for a collegiate team. Soccer is very dear to me and I always want to be apart of this great game.
